Anger

When was the last time your characters lost his/her temper? For five minutes, write about that incident, what triggered it, and what its effects were.

  1. My character gets angry a lot! She really needs to attend an anger management class. :-)

  5. I like it when this happens. I notice that I get angered and excited as well, because my typing speeds up.

  6. This morning! The mom in my story has had it up to her eyeballs and I let her GO! Then I found your prompt and went back to polish that anger a bit more.

  7. Christina, I've found that my characters get angry a lot more than I do. Maybe it's our way of releasing some of our pent-up anger?

Aubrie, I'm sure it was fun for your character too! We all need a release once in a while.

Kelly, I'm so glad these are helpful. Happy writing!

Thanks so much for the award, Lydia!

Medeia, I definitely live out my characters' emotions along with them too. Some might call us crazy, but we know we're just creative. :-)

Lee, I'm glad this was so timely!

  8. I like it when my character gets mad because he can be such a sissy. :) Fun idea!

  9. The MC in my new WIP loses it often. It's great to explore that more with her.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
