Superstitions

Superstitions can tell us a lot about a person. For five minutes, write about what you (or your character) are most superstitious about.

    Anna, these are all terrific ideas to rustle up some characters. I have four or five different books that I am developing with a variety of characters. This will help. Thanks.

    I love this one! I teach American lit and I might steal this as a quickwrite-- what would Emily Dickinson's superstitions be? William Faulkner's?

    Anne, that sounds like a great exercise! I would imagine Emily Dickinson would have had some very interesting superstitions :-)
